Outstanding salary of all Migrant teachers to be released in 2-days

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 02 (KNO) : Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, today convened a meeting to review arrangements for the upcoming festival of Maha Shivratri . The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Abid Rashid, Director School Education G N Itoo while officers representing various departments were also present. Threadbare discussions were held on various issues which included security, traffic, uninterrupted power and water supply, medicare, sanitation for smooth celebrations of the festival It was given out that mobile vans loaded with fish for sale have been kept at their designated places and vegetables especially Lotus Stems (Nadroo), Spinach, walnut, Cheese and other essential commodities are adequately available in the market. The Div Com also directed the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department to release the ration and Kerosene oil quota to the community at the earliest. Officials from Health Department informed the meeting that two ambulances with first aid kits will be deployed at various places and medical camps will also be established near the migrant community colonies. Earlier, representative of All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) briefed about the various issues of the community in Kashmir. The Div Com asked the concerned officials to redress the issues at the earliest. The Div Com directed the DSEK to release the salary of all migrant employees within two days.(KNO)
